"perl5.6.2" is located in /usr/local/bin, but the only executable named
"perl" is located in /usr/bin and it is 5.8.7. This all worked until
this afternoon after I was manually installing code using
$ perl5.6.2 Makefile.PL
or $ perl5.6.2 Build.PL
as appropriate.
