This isn't going to be entirely sufficient, since people could be using CPANPLUS and have that configured to prefer M::B over EU::MM.
IMO anything that Module::Build depends on needs to have a _Real_ EUMM compatibility makefile to allow a backout for issues like this.
I'll do this, but it will probably be an enormous pain, since EUMM just isn't capable of performing the kind of install that MB is. I have to support both the pure Perl and XS mode transparently over multiple Perl versions.
Obviously, I didn't consider this possibility and didn't know that Ken was thinking of releasing a new, non-alpha M::B. I'll try and get something out ASAP to keep this from being worse than it already is...
