It's a premature fusion of one (or more, but in his case just one) of
the sutures of the skull. It doesn't leave room for proper growth of
the brain, so they have to go in and cut the plates apart, and then
re-shape the plates after they're apart. He had the sagittal kind.
He's doing awesome now, I just picked a few of his dissolvable
stitches out a few minutes ago. =)
