I can bump the version and ship an alpha without much pain. I've given
up trying to know whether an official release will break something
though.
It is worth noting though that the version in core has jumped ahead of
CPAN. I had a user run into a weird issue yesterday where he had
somehow managed to downgrade Module::Build on a 5.10.0 install.
