Alberto -- could you please send patches to the M::B RT queue? I've been using that aggressively to triage and stage issues and it's very helpful to make sure things don't get lost.
I'm very supportive of your changes, but I'm only doing critical M::B patches at the moment as I'm very overloaded with other projects with tight deadlines. If Eric or others want to commit your patches, that's great too, but I'm not going to have a chance to review things until March at the earliest.
