WorldMap bdcOp Drawing World Maps of Things LBROCARD I'm finally going to release the code behind the Perl Monger World Map: http://astray.com/Bath.pm/ The module takes a list of locations (a longitude/latitude and a label) and can either draw a little dot (a la front page of above) or draw labels, laying them out so that labels do not overlap (a la what happens when you click on the image above). It then outputs a PNG. The hard bit is the label laying-out (NP hard). I'm not sure about the name though. WorldMap is simple, but toplevel and not terribly descriptive.
