rationale:
Because XML::Parser (and expat) are really big, slow and bloated.
Especially when adding XML::DOM.
We needed something simpler, so we built it. I'd like to publish it
for use on CPAN.
XML::Lite is a pure-Perl implementation of a simple XML parser.
It's read-only, but allows the program using it to simply find
elements, attributes and to walk the XML tree of a document. It uses
lots of Perl-specific contructs to make it Perl-efficient.
