rationale:
PDF::API2 is the next generation of Text::PDF::API with the
following benefits:
- cleaned up name-space hence the move from Text::PDF::API to
PDF::API2
- PDF::API2 aims to be full object-oriented to allow full mid-level
manipulation of pdf-files (the underlying Text::PDF::* di low-level
manipulation)
- there is a PDF::API2::Lite module which aims to be a high-level
wrapper around PDF::API2 for easy pdf-creation only
PDF::API2 is similar in concept to pdflib or panda, but tries to be
as xs-free as possible to ensure portability across platforms.
its only preq. is Compress::Zlib and optionally WeakRef.
