rationale:
I wrote this module to provide just the required methods for
capturing data from the XML::Writer module. It requires no other
modules and is pure Perl making it easy to install and platform
independant.
Other modules which provide simillar (enhanced) functionality to
this module as detailed above are non-core modules and have other
module requirements or larger footprints.
