rationale:
The module is now two years available on CPAN (under this name) and
used by a couple of people.
There exists a sister module: Digest::Perl::MD4.
Maybe I'd better used Digest::MD5_PP (like some of the modules in
the Crypt::-hierarchie (e.g. Crypt::DES_PP)).
Digest::MD5 uses Digest::Perl::MD5 as a fallback (if the bootstrap
fails).
