I'm not sure if this is the problem, but have you ever seen a module
on CPAN named like this:
cpan> ls byourth
3773 2001-10-22 BYOURTH/Math.SimpleInterest.0.04.ZIP
When I unpacked it, it populated the current directory, which is also
not quite the standard way.
Better you make the distribution file with 'make dist' or 'make
zipdist', then the filename and packaging will be more standard and we
can get see if there are any obstacles left.
