rationale:
The current Net::Whois module is specific to INTERNIC domain object
responses.
This module though applicable to any "attr:value" pair objects
provides an API most suitable for interacting with databases running
RIPE-157 conformant whois servers. This module would also work fine
with RPSL whois servers.
See http://www.ripe.net and http://www.apnic.net for examples of
whois servers running these types of databases for IP, ASN, route,
etc assignment information.
