rationale:
The module removes the PODs from Perl source files and can dump
them to a separate .pod file. The supplied F<podsep> script can do
so recursively for a given directory. This is particularly useful
for those who document their code with inline POD (as opposed to
putting the PODs after the __END__ token). This should increase the
start-up time of Perl modules and scripts.
This issue will also be discussed on [EMAIL PROTECTED] so that the
invokation of podsep could eventually be included in a Makefile rule
and thus be triggered automatically on installation of modules.
