rationale:
Algorithm::Diff is a prerequisite. VCS::Lite is an OO wrapper, and
provides more functionality.
Whereas VCS provides an interface to a pre-installed version
control system, and VCS::SaVeS provides a simple VCS in perl,
VCS::Lite is a tool kit to do the functions that one normally needs
a VCS for.
I thought about Text::Merge as a possibility, but finding the VCS
namespace seemed more appropriate.
