The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       Class::Meta
  DSLIP:       cdpOp
  description: A class for meta objects
  userid:      IVORW (Ivor Williams)
  chapterid:    6 (Data_Type_Utilities)
  communities:
    http://london.pm.org/tech_talks/21_nov_2002/ivor/
    [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://perlmonks.org

  similar:
    Class::Classless

  rationale:

    Please see the tech talk slides for background information.

    The module does something similar to Class::Classless, which allows
    objects to inherit from other objects. No other module apart from
    Class::Classless or Class::Meta redefines inheritance so as not to
    pollute package namespace.

    Class::Classless only contains an inheritance hierarchy of objects.
    The different approach with Class::Meta is that objects in
    Class::Meta represent both objects and classes. Everything in
    Class::Meta is an object (of class Class::Meta in a Perl sense), but
    can represent a class, or an object or both.

The resulting entry would be:

Class::
::Meta cdpOp A class for meta objects IVORW
