QMTP is Dan Bernstein's Quick Mail Transfer Protocol which is a
replacement for SMTP. qmail/serialmail includes a C QMTP server and
client.
The 'Net' namespace was chosen as Net::QMTP is equivalent to
existing protocol interfaces, such as Net::SMTP, Net::FTP,
Net::POP3, etc.
BTW, QMTP is not QMPC, though they are both Dan Bernstein
protocols.
