See http://www.acid.org/info/sauce/sauce.htm for information on the
metadata structure. Basically, it holds, author, title, date,
filetype, and other information about the file.
There are lots of files, on the net and otherwise, that use this
structure. Most of them are found in 'artpacks'. See
http://www.acheron.org/articles/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsp_article&article=20000519180111H
for information on 'artpacks' and 'the art scene.' However, there
are no perl modules to read this data.
I also plan to release a File::Find::Rule module to allow easy
searches, based on this metadata, through large sets of files.
