A pure perl, illustrative (ie. clear code and slow performance) of
T.Kohonen's Self-Organising Feature Maps (SOMs). It compliments the
existing "straight" AI::NeuralNet pacakge.
I thought about naming it AI::SOM, but it *is* a neural net, even
if current NN perl authors don't recognise it! And
AI::NeuralNet::SOM was a thought, but there are other
implimentations of SOMs, so that would be greedy. Then,
AI::NeuralNet::SOM::Kohonen was just silly...!
