The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:
modid: HTML::Breadcrumbs
DSLIP: bdpfp
description: Creates HTML breadcrumb trail from URL path
userid: GAVINC (Gavin Carr)
chapterid: 15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI)
communities:
Mailing list.
similar:
None known.
rationale:
This module generates HTML 'breadcrumb trails' from URL paths e.g.
breadcrumbs(path => '/foo/bar/bog.html') returns a string "Home >
Foo > Bar > Bog" where the first three elements are HTML links to
the various path components. It supports procedural and OO
interfaces; arbitrary labels for components; and path munging
options. It's also designed to be easy to subclass for local use
(e.g. nice directory labels are in a database or CMS somewhere).
