As this modules requires the Win32::API module and via these uses
the msi.dll-functions, it is currently applicable only to windows.
(side note: who would use msi on unix?)
I plan to write some other modules below Win32::MSI - eg. a
Win32::MSI::Tools module, which should be able to compare msi
databases, and eventually a Win32::MSI::TkView module which defines
some Tk-Classes for displaying data from msi-databases.
Win32::MSI will define the core functions for accessing data.
