A module which parses printf-style %-escapes in a string and
replaces it with user-specified data. In a CD ripper script, a user
could enter the following string:
"%.1a/%a/%t.mp3"
After replacement, it would be, for example:
"R/R.E.M./Everybody Hurts.mp3"
