There are already a number of Perl modules that provide a way to
access the metadata contained in popular audio formats. However,
they differ in their interfaces, mainly because they need to
maintain compatibility with the underlying C libraries they're based
on. Audio::Info encapsulates these modules in a simple, easy to use
way that is easily extendable for other formats.
