I've identified a couple of bugs on the Apache:ProxyRewrite module
and provided fixes for them. I've also been in contact with the
original author, Christian Gilmore, about these fixes.
Understandably he may be too busy to address the bugs or even post
the fix himself. I would like to post the modified source for
benefit of all.
