The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:
modid: Mysql::PrettyPrinter
DSLIP: adpOg
description: Lean, efficient SQL pretty-printer for MySQL
userid: NICZERO (Nic Sandfield)
chapterid: 7 (Database_Interfaces)
communities:
similar:
SQL::Beautify
rationale:
This module is specific to the MySQL flavour of SQL in contrast to
SQL::Beautify which supports those wanting to clean up standard SQL
(biased towards Oracle SQL). Mysql::PrettyPrinter will be extended
to support additional uses, such as when you want your SQL to be all
on one line, or when you need to convert to/from Perl/PHP wrapped
syntax.
There are many confusing namespaces for MySQL-specific modules, but
after some consideration and discussions on IRC, I reckon Mysql:: is
the most sensible top-level namespace to be within.
