Hi François,

I have recently taken over maintenance of the 'enum' module on CPAN. I tried to release a new version to PAUSE, but the indexing failed because you have permissions for the Enum module, which you included in an earlier release of your CORBA-IDL distribution.

I noticed that in version 2.60 you had a class Enum, but by 2.64 you had changed this to CORBA::IDL::Enum.
Would you mind doing the following please, which would then let me release a new version of the enum module:

  • Delete the older versions of CORBA-IDL from CPAN (2.60, 2.61, 2.62, 2.63).
  • Relinquish your permissions on the package names such as Enum, EnumType, _expression_, Module, etc

These steps will stop the old module names being listed as "on CPAN", and also stop any blocking of other people trying to use your old module names.

You can delete the old files via PAUSE: once you've logged in, select "Delete Files" from the sidebar.

To relinquish the permissions, select "Change Permissions" on the sidebar, and look for the section:

Select the 'Enum' module, then select the "Select" button next to 2.2.

Merci,
Neil
