why:
I've been working in perl for over 5 years now and want to
consolidate and hopefully submit modules I've been working on in
relation to Linux sysadmin utility modules, web application helpers,
DBMS helper modules, a NetCDF parsing and analysis (just starting to
work on) kit and a SOM (Self Organising Map) library I'm porting
from an old university project.
