Hi,

Allow me to chime in...

Neil's module was 0.02. Under the assumption that noone would be using this
(old and >10 years unmaintained) version I asked permission to replace it;
this became 1.05.

Then it turned out that 0.02 was actually used by some people (e.g Gábor).
Also I discovered there were packages for some distros (e.g. Fedora). And,
worse, 1.05 had been picked up by some of the package maintainers.

I'm almost 100% sure noone (but me) is using 1.05 so I re-released 0.02
(Neil's version) as 1.06 to supercede 'my' version. When package
maintainers pick up 1.06 the resultant Data::Properties module should be
functional again for all original users of Neil's module.

Unfortunately this has already been done. I hope they'll pick up 1.06 as
quickly as they did 1.05...

Apologies for the inconvenience...
