why:
Planning to add a module for creating simple interactive REPLs for
users scripts. Basically, just an adapter for Term::ReadLine that
automatically includes history file and tab auto complete support
from the start, saving the user having to write that boiler plate
code. Way it works, user passes in hash with schema and subrefs to
what those cmds do for the interactive readline shell they want to
create. Also supports Getopt::Long arg parsing.
But this is just the first idea of a thing to add to CPAN. There is
more. A lot of them are just small utilities, misc internal things.
However, I'm always trying to convince my company to release more
things open source!
