Quick follow-up: I was able to run the release myself today so users are at least unblocked on this latest version. We'd still love your help to resolve this for future releases!
It's quite possible we'll want to grant other teammates Perl client library access in the future, so I'm wondering if there's a way to address the root of the "add co-maintainer" failures, since the original attempt (deleting old releases to prevent timeouts) didn't work. If there isn't a better way, we may just need to create secure shared credentials; this isn't ideal, but it might be an option.
