Michal,

We have our default spam level set to strong. The upgrade reset the
server-wide setting to extreme, but I changed it back to strong. Marc has
been working with me today on the spam that is slipping through (THANKS
MARC!). It appears that some spam is slipping through the SCA engine with
strong level but is being caught with extreme level.

We have always used the extreme level to create custom scripts of extreme
nature that will clearly cause some false positives, but that will be
ultra-effective for those customers that can't handle the spam. Examples
would be blocking all .biz references, country TLD blocks, etc. Because of
using the extreme filters this way, we have our server default set to strong
and have educated our customers of the differences in filter levels. If the
SCA filters are not generating false positives, then I don't think they
should be considered extreme level.

I have been discussing this with Marc... and he indicated that you may be
able to make some changes. I sure hope so.

Hi,

Also, for those users getting a little spam, could you let me know whether
you are using Extreme or Strong settings for anti-spam?

Regards,
