Because of need to fix issue with error log messages going missing and release a mod_wsgi 3.3, I have back ported various other fixes/changes form 4.X trunk to 3.X branch. Details of these are in:

In particular, if anyone tests on Python 2.7 let me know. I haven't even downloaded Python 2.7 yet and tried it myself, so not even sure if mod_wsgi code compiles with it, let alone run. Thanks.
