Apache/mod_wsgi lives again. https://pypi.python.org/pypi/mod_wsgi https://github.com/GrahamDumpleton/mod_wsgi/releases/tag/4.1.0 Moving on from the recent release of mod_wsgi version 3.5, I have now released version 4.1.0.
Two important points here. I have skipped version 4.0 because that version number was what was used on the code that sat in the source code repository for a number of years and I felt releasing anything under that version at this point might just have caused a bit of confusion. I have also now moved to an X.Y.Z version numbering scheme instead of the existing X.Y scheme. The extra patch level revision should mean I feel no qualms about doing much more frequent releases from now on. That is all I am going to say right now about this new release. View it is a sort of sneak preview for what I have been up to, although if you read through the release notes you will see that there have been a fair few changes compared to what was in 3.5. If I still haven't managed to fix something you were waiting on, do let me know as I am still sifting threw the debris of the old issue tracker to pull things out. If you do try it, especially the new pip installable version and the mod_wsgi-express script which you can find described on PyPi, do let me know how it worked out and what you think. I will start to blog more about it all in coming days, unless I find working on more new stuff for mod_wsgi to be more fun.
