Correct, but for the wrong reason.      I can drive the Morgan if it's been on 
charge in the garage and if I let it cool off before starting it again.       
But I'm Easyjetting to Gatwick this evening.

Thanks for the details.     While clearly not a quick replacement it may be 
worth doing.    I'm currently struggling (was that a pun?) with a failing 
battery that is less than two years old.     It is compounded by the continuing 
non-resolution of my no idle after hot restart issue, but even so I have to use 
a battery conditioner overnight if I miss even one day's driving.         I 
realize I also need to check that I don't have a new current drain.

Colin, did fitting yours involve longer leads?    Mine is mounted on the 
offside, so different from Richard's.
