While I've been away in France it would appear that Mogtalk on Google Groups <https://groups.google.com/group/mogtalk?hl=en> has ceased to function as it should. Although the odd post has appeared there the last multiple posts appeared on April 3rd. The reason is that posts transferred from Listbox to Google Groups are bouncing. The problem appears to be effecting others that use the system to archive or mirror another mailing list. At present there appears to be no solution. In addition Google, in their wisdom, are closing down the old Google Groups and will shortly transfer everyone to the 'new' Google Groups. From what I can gather the new one will not support the archive system that we use.
Finding a free alternative has not been easy but I'm now trying out <www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> The archive is open so no membership or signing up is necessary. The system is not configurable so what you see is what you get. If anyone knows of a better free system that allows archiving then please let me know.
