+4’s have the best residuals!

I purchased my 1952 one in 1968 for £215, and it sold in January at
Gooding’s Auction in California for US$79,750.

Unfortunately I had sold it (for £300) in 1970!

But for new ones I would think one that had done 30,000 miles in three years
was a better bet than one that had only done 3,000! (But perhaps I should
use my Roadster a bit more – only some 5,000 miles per year so far!)

What about a +8 then? They just seem to go up in value!

I must have a look through the Telegraph after dinner!

I have just been reading a copy of the March 31st Telegraph Motoring
Section.

Whilst the Audi Q5 retains it's value by 72.5% over 3 years/30,000 miles,
the second and fourth best were the Roadster and Plus 4 (69.6 and 68.7%
respectively)!

Something to cheer some of us up on a damp Monday.

Chris
