When I had plates fitted a few years back on the Morgan I had a choice of having no flag on my number plate, or a Euro symbol, or a union jack with GB under it - this apparently has a dispensation and is legal abroad so I went for that. I do like the old metal GB plates though which can be fitted to the bumper brackets of a Morgan - if ever come across a nice original I will fit that and go back to a plain number plate Richard M800RGN+8
