Subject: [mogtalk2] 2007 Roadster - Loose fan

Having jacked my car up in preparation for some suspension greasing, I noticed
that the fan looked loose. On checking more closely it seemed that three screws
fixing the fan to the bottom of the radiator were not there and appeared never
to have been fitted, the plastic arms which fitted into the mountings on the
radiator were all (bar one) broken and the fan was just about to become
completely detached from the radiator. Having found some screws which more or
less fitted, I then had to fix the top of the fan so that it did not flap
about, utilising the standard duck tape. Has anyone else experienced this
particular example rather shoddy workmanship and cheap materials?
