regarding your questions:
1. we   a l l l   would like to know this, but Thomas does not tell us ;-((
2. list items must be indented by at least a single space and prefixed
either with "*" (bulleted list) or "." (if you just want an indented list
without any bullets). MoinMoin sometimes does ignore single linebreaks. To
be absolutely sure it is advisable to use an empty line in between your
items - this means a new paragraph to moin, but it will ignore the empty
line...
