They never pretended they were out to help the world with their software, you have to give them that. They were always just accepting free help. You can't get mad at them when they didn't lie to you ;) Some people around my company were still pretty surprised. My group talked the rest of the company into moving to Mon from BB at least a year and a half ago, but they haven't moved much on the project. Maybe now they'll pick up the pace.
