Hello,
i have a RedHat Linux 7.3 box and there i installed mon. now i want to use
the ldap.monitor.
The README of mon says, that i have to install "Net::LDAPapi Perl module,
available from CPAN". And the README of Net::LDAPapi says that i have to
install:
"Netscape LDAP C SDK (used by author):
http://developer.netscape.com/one/directory/downloads.html
University of Michigan LDAP-3.3:
ftp://terminator.rs.itd.umich.edu/ldap/ldap-3.3.tar.Z
It should also work with the ISODE libraries and includes."
I tried the Netscape SDK and the Michigan way, both didnt work. I cannot
compile both packages. I think they are too old, cause the Michigan site
says to use openldap and the Netscape site doesnt exist anymore. I also
installed the openldap-devel RPM and tried to compile Net::LDAPapi. But it
didnt work too.
Any idea? ;)
I hope, that anyone can help me.
Best regards
Philippe
