remotly start service by mon

If i use mon on server1 to monitor some services(like httpd, dhcpd) on 
another server2, sometime I need only remotly restart those services on 
server2, that means if server1(mon) detects httpd is not running on  server2 
then it excute alert file and remotly restart httpd on server2.

Can somebody give me some suggestions how can i do that, like how to write 
alert file.

I really appreciate your help.
