Hi folks,

I'd like to use rrdmon. It seems like a very useful tool.

There seems to be a problem with heartbeat-type services,
however. These services are not checked; they rely on traps coming in
and the "traptimeout" is set to e.g. 5m.

When I run rrdmon, it says "last_checked not available" and does not
create any CGIs.

These are the error messages from version 0.06:

Use of uninitialized value in numeric gt (>) at /bin/rrdmon line 433.
Use of uninitialized value in int at /bin/rrdmon line 411.
Use of uninitialized value in int at /bin/rrdmon line 411.

Have to create ./rrdbases/Localhost+2583+host+SERV+300.rrd
executing: rrdtool last ./rrdbases/Localhost+2583+host+SERV+300.rrd
ERROR: opening './rrdbases/Localhost+2583+host+SERV+300.rrd': No such file or directory
rrdtool last command failed
output : [-1
]
last_check not available

The connection to MON is okay, however.

What to do?

Best regards,
