i've done this successfully from the web interface.
and just from the cli ./moncmd -s <mon.hostname> -a test monitor <groupname> <servicename>
just out of curiosity, why did you switch from nagios?
from what I can see both mon & nagios have thier strengths, and do a similiar function.
regards ian.

I am rather new to mon ( switching from Nagios ), I have a question.
How do I make mon run a test immediately? I tried to use moncmd test command, but it doesn't seem to be
implemented ( using 0.99.3-35 ), I tried to moncmd set <group> <watch> timer but it still wouldn't do anything.
Also, is there a patch somewhere to save state between reloads?
