Do you have a sendmail-equivalent at /usr/sbin/sendmail? If not, edit mail.alert appropriately.

Yes, I do.
However, I noticed that mail.alert looks for /usr/lib/sendmail. So I made a link to /usr/libexec/sendmail - but still no mail...
Thanx for the hint - where else should I look?
