mysql.monitor seems to be not working , 'perldoc
perllocal' shows that I have DBI and DBD::Mysql perl modules installed
, I get the following error
nstall_driver(mysql) failed: Can't load
'/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/sun4-solaris/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so'
for module DBD::mysql: ld.so.1:
/usr/share/src/mon/mon.d/mysql.monitor: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/sun4-solaris/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so:
symbol net_buffer_length: referenced symbol not found at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.5/sun4-solaris/DynaLoader.pm line 230.
and in the file DynaLoader.pm it says that
# Many dynamic extension loading problems will appear to come from
# this section of code: XYZ failed at line 123 of DynaLoader.pm.
# Often these errors are actually occurring in the initialisation
# C code of the extension XS file. Perl reports the error as being
# in this perl code simply because this was the last perl code

Hw do Iget around this ..
