What if the URL fails !
I am doing a failover setup with heartbeat and mon and I don't my servers to
spend their time switching from one to another.
Is there a way to only monitor the proxy server ?
Should i write my own monitor ?

For example:
http.monitor -p your_proxy_port -u 'http://some_working_url'
Notes: use it on one host (the proxy); it depends on the url you used
and can give false negatives if that site is down
