Thank you very much for your insight.
It appears that php was looking for pear in the wrong directory. I changed
include_path in php.ini to point to the correct directory.
Another problem was that my installation pear didn't come with the HTTP_Client
module installed. I managed to fix this.
After this the webpage loaded correctly.
Now I get the following error:
Could not connect to http://10.0.1.88:5039 (ERROR :: Connection Refused).
Make sure monast.py is running so the panel can connect to its port properly.
But I don't think it will be much of a problem to solve this one.

Hi,
I have managed to install monast on ubuntu server 12.04 64bit.
The monast service starts correctly and connects to the AMI.
However, I get a internal server error when trying to access the web page with
chrome, and a completely blank screen when using firefox.
I don't know if I did something wrong during the installation.
I'm running asterisk 1.8.9.3 and installed twisted 11.
I'd highly appreciate any assistance you can provide.
