Dear Tola, I'm not sure, whether this might be the problem, but is appears that the "Source Super Tarball" does not (yet?) contain the bugfix release "Mars-2" of MonetDB-XQuery as available from SF at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=56967 http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=56967&package_id=219621
