You might be better off using a script for this one (even just a shell script 
and openldap tools could work) and using the "check program" test, particularly 
if encryption is involved.

I am trying to connect to an ldap server  using monit. However i am getting a 
failure message saying "Anonymous bind failure". Can anyone please tell me how 
to send the LDAP server credentials while connecting . Kindly tell me the exact
