Hi, I think this is a very good point. Even that there is no dedicated user for the collector which is only able to ship data to the M/Monit instance is not a good decision. For small environments the whole thing maybe fine, but as the environment and the staff grows there will be definitely a need for more fine granulated access rights.

For example. if an intern was to be given control of fixing a non-critical down service but the company didnt want to give them the ability to stop or restart a critical service. Thanks
